Peace In Christ

What would it look like to experience genuine peace in the middle of life's most overwhelming moments? In this message, we dive deep into Philippians 4:4-9, where Paul writes one of the most counterintuitive commands in all of scripture -- do not be anxious about anything. And he wrote it from prison, facing the very real possibility of execution. The passage gives us a practical, step-by-step approach to handing our anxiety over to God: coming to him in every situation, not just the big ones; bringing both relational prayer and specific petition; and wrapping it all in thanksgiving. The result, Paul promises, is a peace that surpasses human understanding -- one that actively guards our hearts and minds like a sentinel standing watch over a city. This is not passive comfort. This is divine protection. And it is available to all of us, right now, in whatever we are facing.
